THE NATIONAL FREEDOM PARTY OF LIBERIA SHALL UPHOLD THE FOLLOWING FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES AND OBJECTIVES:

The promotion of Peace, Justice, Unity and Reconciliation through genuine democratic system, eliminating all abuses of power;

The constitutional provision of social Justice and Civil Liberties, including freedom of speech and of the press, of religion and conscience, and of association and movement;

The provision of equal access to Education, Medical care and employment opportunities and facilities;

The Free Enterprise System, with special emphasis on the promotion of Liberian entrepreneurship, and encourages foreign capital investment as incentive to employment opportunities;

The encouragement of individual investment initiative and the protection of the right to private and public properties;

The prudent management of the economy to ensure honesty, efficiency and dedication in public service with the adoption and implementation of the merit system to employment opportunities in such manner as to enhance economic growth and development;

The promotion of a vibrant nationwide Broadcast System, public/private to improve the disseminating of vital information in our national development efforts;

An independent Judiciary, Legislative and Executive Democratic System, and the decentralization of governmental functions;

The promotion of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, genuine non-alignment, African and international obligations, peace and security;

The development of a genuine national pension plan that shall guarantee retirement benefits to the contributors without discrimination;

The protection and promotion of our traditional culture;

The promotion of modern Agricultural production to ensure the development of large scale mechanized farming by individual entrepreneurs and foreign capital; while recognizing the pivotal position of small scale farmers;

The establishment of Rehabilitation and Resettlement programs with special emphasis on the development of moral and vocational disciplines in the youths, in order to transform them into productive citizens;

The promoting of equality of sexes in our socio-economic and political development endeavors without discrimination;

The building of a truly pluralistic democracy under free and fair elections, and the principle of universal adult suffrage;

The restructuring of the military capable of protecting and defending the nation and its people at all times;

The creation of transportation network that shall link the various regions of the country and facilitate cheap and efficient travel of our people.
